About the Role
The Chief Compliance Officer will serve as the primary leader responsible for ensuring Stock Region adheres to legal and regulatory guidelines while fostering an ethical, compliance-driven culture. Reporting directly to the executive team, this role represents the alignment between innovation and responsibility. Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for the Chief Compliance Officer role, applicants must meet the following minimum education and certification requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD): Coming from a strong legal foundation is crucial for addressing the multifaceted regulatory challenges within fintech industries.
Additional Required Qualifications and Certifications (Highly Valued):
Master of Laws (LLM): Specializations in financial regulation or fintech law enhance a candidate’s ability to lead in this field.
Advanced Business Degrees: Such as MBA, Master’s in Compliance and Risk Management, or Master’s in Financial Technology (FinTech).
Ph.D. in Law or Business: Applicable for candidates aspiring to contribute to innovative compliance models and policies.
Recognized Certifications including, but not limited to:
Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Key Responsibilities
The Chief Compliance Officer will oversee a range of functions critical to Stock Region’s operations, including but not limited to:
Developing and Leading Compliance Programs:
Craft and execute forward-looking compliance frameworks that align with local and global fintech regulations.Staying Ahead of Regulatory Changes:
Continuously monitor changes in legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in areas like cryptocurrency regulation, data privacy, and investor protections. Adapt internal policies proactively to remain compliant.Ensuring Organizational Compliance:
Establish internal processes for adhering to financial regulations (AML, KYC, CCPA, GDPR) and minimizing risks of legal infractions or penalties.Building and Managing Teams:
Recruit and develop a compliance department capable of executing objectives with precision. Promote a culture of training and empowerment among team members.Collaboration Across Departments:
Work closely with legal advisors, IT specialists, and operational teams to ensure compliance is integrated throughout the organization.Auditing and Transparency:
Conduct periodic reviews and facilitate seamless third-party and regulatory audits. Provide continuous feedback for operational improvements.Compliance Communication:
Act as the face of the company in dealings with regulators, auditors, and legal representatives. Clearly articulate Stock Region’s compliance strategies and resolutions to stakeholders.Driving Awareness and Training:
Lead organization-wide training sessions, disseminating key compliance updates, and reinforcing ethical standards.Incident Resolution:
Investigate compliance violations swiftly and effectively, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurring issues.
