Job Description

Our Trading Instructor will play a pivotal role in delivering educational content, mentoring traders, and developing strategies that resonate with Stock Region’s mission. This position invites financial professionals with a demonstrated ability to explain complex trading concepts, a solid track record in market analysis, and a passion for fostering success in others.

This full-time position offers a salary of $150,000 per year and allows you to take your financial expertise to the next level by mentoring aspiring traders in equities, forex, derivatives, cryptocurrency, and commodities.

Qualifications

To ensure a high standard of instruction, applicants must meet the following minimum educational and licensing requirements:

Required Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, Investment Management, or a related field.

  • Master’s in Financial Engineering (MFE) with an emphasis on algorithmic and quantitative trading strategies.

  • Master’s in Economics with deep expertise in market dynamics and principles.

  • Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or other relevant domains, reflecting advanced academic excellence in financial analysis or trading.

Licenses (Required)

  • Series 7 License - General Securities Representative certification designed for trading securities.

  • Series 3 License - National license required for trading futures and commodities markets.

  • Series 63 License - Pertinent for state trading activities and securities registration.

  • Series 65 License - For investment advisory practices (or the combined Series 66 License).

  • Chartered Market Technician (CMT) - Specialization in charting and technical analysis.

Relevant Certifications (Required)

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

  • Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

  • Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

  • Certified Technical Analyst (CTA).

  • Certified Algorithmic Trader (CAT).

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

  • Forex Trading Certification.

  • Advanced Derivatives Certification.

2. Curriculum Development

3. Mentorship and Client Development
